Delphi OE quality and latest technologies:
Delphi offers two types of technology within its shock absorber product range. The first is the twin tube gas or hydraulics technology, which is used today by the OE for 90% of the car parc.
The second type is the monotube gas high pressure technology, which on the contrary to twin tube shocks, has one tube that performs the functions of both the cylinder tube and the reservoir tube. This technology is designed specifically for off-road and luxury car applications. The monotube technology offers several advantages like superior reaction time in all positions and more exact setting precision.
- Delphi Comfort Series: Our Comfort range uses twintube technology, as chosen by most OE manufacturers, to enhance the drivers comfort and safety. With its robust design, the reservoir tube protects the cylinder from external damages and better supports lateral efforts.
- Delphi Performance Series: Available in Twintube and Monotube technologies, the performance shocks absorbers use pressurized gas to deliver more precise valving and setting as well as superior heat resistance for off-road, medium-size and premium cars.
